Some critics also suggest that this device may be outmoded with the proliferation of portable TV with cable access and Wi-Fi-enabled cell phones which allows users to watch any channel they want, including sports channels. Some critics also said that there are other more reliable medium of communication which can also provide sports updates such as the radio, television, newspapers, sports magazines, etc.
