Belkin, a manufacturer and supplier of electronic products, has partnered with Amimon to create a wireless module which can transmit high-definition content to television.
The FlyWire HD device uses Amimon’s patented HD interface called WHDI, a technology which allows transmission of HD content. The component can transmit video content from HD DVD and Blu-Ray to HD television wirelessly. Featuring a reliable wireless connection in 5GHz band, the device allows streaming of uncompressed HD video content with the same quality provided by any module which provides HDMI transmission.
