Audiovox, in partnership with MediaFLO USA, has recently introduced its newest handset which provides a wide array of television programs from different networks, allowing people to watch live shows from any place they will go.
The FLO TV is a mobile TV device which has been designed to receive wave signals even from the most challenging environment, making this device an ideal companion during long travels. With this capability, people can watch live news and music concerts in high quality images.
One of the highlights of the mobile TV handset is the user-friendly features. Just by simply scrolling up and down the channels, with no complicated applications and commands, watching programs is easier and more convenient. Another impressive thing about this mobile device is that switching to another channel would take less than two seconds.
To cater to the different interests of people, FLO TV supports exclusive television programs which are not even available to regular TV. These include 24/7 food channel for bonafide foodie and gourmet eater, Victoria’s Secret TV which is a special channel showcasing the lives of lingerie models, and 24/7 FLO Music Channel which shows concerts of artists.
The FLO TV service has made partnership deal with the world’s leading provider of entertainment shows including CBS, MTV Networks, FOX, ESPN, and NBC Universal, all of which can offer outstanding television programming for viewers.
Meanwhile, people can choose two wireless communication providers AT&T which provides 10 channels including Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central, MSNBC, FOX News, FOX Mobile, CBS Mobile, ESPN Mobile TV, NBC 2Go, and CNBC; and Verizon Wireless which provides 11 television programs almost the same with AT&T only with MTV Tr3s.
With features and designs of the FLO TV, this “intelligent” device has revolutionized the whole concept of television viewing, replacing the once cumbersome tube-box into something mobile, compact, and handy.
According to a published report, the Audiovox said that it will sell the handset for less than $500, adding that 14 channels will be included in the FLO TV service in the third quarter this year.
