There is a new LCD television screen that features double-sided monitor. This invention has not yet been made available to the general market since those people who are responsible for this product is still further improving the prototype. This folding LCD screen can provide two different programs that play simultaneously. If viewers wish to have wider screen display, they can opt for a single program and utilize the other part of the screen to make the image look bigger.
The inventors of this television model have not yet reveal the specs or features of the product, nor the expected cost of this. Meanwhile, this LCD is considered by many to be just a blueprint that will create a new genre of folding television. On the other hand, technology experts believe that this latest innovation will revolutionize the concept of portable television.
This conceptual idea is still undergoing further improvements. But one amazing breakthrough is its ability to make its first screen a provider of tools and utilities while making the second one a place where users can do actual editing, modification, and other video and image adjustment.
However, the folding LCD has its own drawbacks. Its two monitors are designed to work not as a single entity, instead, both has different encasement. This design proves to be a big disadvantage, in a case where one monitor is experiencing difficulties or technical problems, the other screen will also experience the same trouble.
The monitor should also be further improved to support technical feature that will erase the streak between the two monitors (as the market is growing to become more fastidious than ever, it is necessary to make the screen perfect as possible to lure people to buy the product).
Other drawback experienced by this LCD blueprint is shown with this glaring question: how can this product reach the general public if the assessment cost of a retractable screen is very expensive? When these shortcomings are solved, there might be some manufacturers who would be willing to invest millions of dollars to mass produce this folding LCD prototype.
