Mobile phone maker Nokia has recently introduced its latest device called N900 smartphone that features interactive technologies including fast Internet connectivity (HSPA and WLAN connections) that allows users to maximize their work and connect to websites, blogs, and social networks. In addition, the smartphone’s web browser can support HTML, AJAX, XHTML, CSS, and Mozilla Technology.
Another notable feature is the built-in camera that supports 5-megapixel resolution and Carl Zeiss optics for clear and noise-free photos, DVD-quality resolution when taking videos, geo-tagging capability for providing input for every picture, and image editing tools.
This phone also has a built-in media player that supports high-quality videos complemented with crisp sounds and music. Another impressive technology is the 32GB memory storage (this can be expanded up to 48GB) that allows people to save hundreds of music and videos without having to use external memory system.
To allow business travellers and tourist easily locate their destinations, the phone boasts Ovi Maps which has a search box where they can type an address to know its exact location. In addition, the built-in maps have a high-resolution display that supports stunning level of detail.
Meanwhile, the phone also has organizer tools for easy management of schedule including calendar, PDF files, File Manager, and attachment support. The device also has Skype contacts and synchronization to Windows Outlook in its all-in-one address book.
Other capabilities of N900 are various messaging support (SMS, email, Internet call, IM Conversions, and Instant Messaging), full QWERTY keyboard design for a convenient and fast typing experience, 3.5-inch display that supports Touch Screen Technology, onscreen keyboard, and high-resolution images, dedicated keys for easy and fast applications, stylus support and game applications.
Meanwhile, one deal breaker of this phone is its lack of Wi-Fi connectivity which is usually a free Internet signal found in most business establishments like restaurants, cafeterias, malls, and shops.
Another downside of this phone is that it only comes in black color and the thickness of 18mm may appear cumbersome for most tech-savvy consumers who are used in ultra-thin smartphones.
