Their smart fabrics can be found in bags, accessories, backpacks, and even on clothing like jackets or suits. So what do these “smart fabrics” products actually do? They allow you to control your favorite electronics gadgets. Eleksen has brought the iPod controls to jacket sleeves and to bags as well. You can also control any of your other favorite devices with the products that Eleksen has to offer.
The core of the Eleksen smart fabrics products is in the ElekTex textile touchpads. These touchpads are what allow the Eleksen products to work the way that they do. They are easy to use and easy to integrate into products. These touchpads were meticulously designed to work with garments and bags. This is why they perform with flexibility as well as durability, effortlessly allowing for a comfortable fit. The Samsung Instinct mobile phone has created quite a wave in the Mobile world for 2 reasons - Its uncanny resemblance to the Apple iPhone (read: Jesus Phone) and its unique Haptic Touch Feedback.
Haptic Touch brings you one step closer to the real button feel. Whenever your touch any icon you feel the actual feedback in form of small vibrations under your finger ! This not only makes the User Experience great but also provides a more accurate operation !
The three navigation keys that Samsung positioned at the bottom of Instinct are instrumental in making the user experience quick and easy. The Middle Home Button does the same function as the iPhones Home Button i.e. takes you back to the main Home Screen.

LG introduces phone made to feel like skin
Mar

The new LG-SH240 made by LG can go either of two ways, one way will be an innovative and comfortable addition in ergonomic technology design, or the second way which is the way I’m inclined to go, is that it will creep you out. The mobile phone which is a slidy phone is designed specifically to feel like human skin, don’t worry it’s currently only available in Korea, so were safe…..for a little while anyway.
Don’t worry too much, it’s not real skin of course, I’m pretty sure they couldn’t get away with that anyway, and it’s not the whole of the phone, the keypad is crafted from silicone to make it feel exactly like your touching someone’s skin whilst using your mobile phone. It’s actually not a bad looking phone as you can see in the picture, around average size and average features to be honest in today’s market. It has a respectable but not ground breaking 2 mega pixel camera, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity; it also has some external memory. You can pick one up in Korea for around $400 / £200.
Emirates Airlines Allow Mobile Calls
Mar

It is common knowledge that we are prohibited from using or even having our mobile phones switched on during a flight. But Dubai based Emirates Airlines have been the first to allow its passengers to make phone calls during a flight. The aircraft in question was an Airbus A340, it is claimed that Emirates Airlines have developed a device which stops mobile phone transmissions interfering with aircraft instruments and electronics during a flight.
This new policy and technology was introduced for the first time on a flight between Dubai and Casablanca. Emirates claim that the system will work on most mobile phone networks, allowing the user to send and receive text messages as well as phone calls. Although data devices such as the Blackberry are not supported at the moment, they plan to develop the system further in order to accommodate these and more devices in the future. Don’t think it’s that easy though, the crew will only allow you to use your mobile phone when the aircraft has reached a cruising altitude state. The crew can also control when the service will be available, for example they can bar the system from working during night flight, although they request passengers to keep their mobile phones on silent at all times.
