Samsung has launched an “intelligent” mobile phone called Samsung SCH-i760 during the Consumers Electronics Show (CES) annual event.
This mobile communication device features a keyboard in QWERTY format, with a separate numeric keypad for a more convenient typing.
Samsung SCH-i760 features Windows Mobile 6 Professional access which includes Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, plus, this communication device allows users to check their emails with the use of Wireless Sync or Active Sync Technology.
The mobile phone also features secure modem by means of Broadband Access Connect Technology, plus Bluetooth compatibility, microSD™ memory card slot, and impressive music player. This device also has touchscreen feature; it has a stylus that fits snugly on the phone.
Featuring a built-in camera with 1.3 megapixel resolution and video recorder, this mobile device possessed cutting-edge technologies to maximize its overall performance and features.
Users can also easily switch from corporate WLAN to home WLAN or to local Hot Spot, plus, the Samsung SCH-i760 are designed to accommodate entertainment features such as mono and stereo headset and able to maintain profiles such as serial port, handsfree, object push, dial-up networking, basic print, file transfer, human interface device, phone book access and email.
The mobile device is able to support Good™ Mobile Messaging, Wireless Sync, and WM Direct Push which allows users to open their email account.
The Samsung SCH-i760 can store files and user-generated pictures and video clips with the use of its removable microSD memory module. Users can transfer their favorite music to a microSD card and play it on this mobile device (microSD card is not included and must be purchased separately).
The Samsung SCH-i760 comes at a price of $449.99 with 2-year contract price. This product is also made available at Verizon wireless site with a cost of $349.99.
