High Tech Computer Corporation, a company based from Taiwan, has recently introduced the world’s first mobile phone which features Android Operating System that will allow users to easily access social networking sites.
The T-Mobile G1 features a 3.2-inch wide screen display that comes with touch sensitive technology and 480 x 320 pixel resolution. With this feature, users can simply touch-drag and finger-tap the surface of the screen which makes it easier for them to navigate and apply various functions.
Meanwhile, this handset also features multi-media functions which include audio, music player, and built-in camera.
The audio system is designed to support WMA, MPEG4, MP3, AAC, ACC+, OGG, MIDI, Real Audio, and WAV formats. This also features MP3 mobile application and allows users to download music content from Amazon.com. And just like most smartphones, this device also provides mini external USB which can support the standard 3.5 mm headphone system.
The mobile phone also has a built-in camera which features 3-megapixel resolution and has been designed to support files such as MPEG4, Codec 3GP, H.264, 3GPP, and also streaming. Meanwhile, the camera has its own downside since this can not capture video footage and does not provide zoom capability for clearer images.
In terms of storage capacity, the handset provides 1G internal memory and can be further expanded to 16G since this has also been designed to support 16GB microSD cards. (The company has reported that the device may be even capable of supporting more than 16GB because they are developing a new one that can support this.)
The T-Mobile also provides Qwerty keyboard format and six navigation keys.
One of the most impressive features of this device is the accelerometer which has been designed to detect movements. This technology has also been equipped with digital compass which will provide users with accurate direction, making this ideal for people who constantly travel.
The smartphone has been made available in three colors, namely, white, black, and brown.
The T-Mobile G1 comes at a starting price of $179.

I personally prefer my Motorola Krave. ( motorola.com/krave ) It has a 2 Megapixel camera and a touch screen flip, which allows me to navigate the phone without flipping my screen open. It also has a full html web browser so I can surf the net. I can’t seem to put it down!
