WildCharge Inc. has launched its newest product called “WildCharger” which is a charging apparatus which is virtually compatible to any kind of cell phone and other electronics device.
This power-supplier device is considered as a solution for electronics gadgets which need electricity to operate and function. Due to its functionality, some leading companies are considering to adopt this technology to its electronic products.
This is how the wireless charging pad works: put the compatible adapter to the back of the cell phone or electronic device and place it on the surface of the charger. The adapter features external mini-bumps which serve as a contact point that allows electrical circuit to be transferred to the electronic device.
The WildCharger features wireless charging solution and protective flexible gel cover which serves as a protective housing that fits securely on any electronic device. Moreover, this device is environment-friendly and cost-effective product since it eliminates the need for separate chargers or disposable one and do not emit any harmful radiation. Any kind of cell phone model can work with this as long as it has appropriate adapter.
The WildCharger has been awarded with 2008 Best of Innovations Award by the recent Consumer Electronics Show (CES). It has also been recognized by Time Magazine as one of the best inventions of 2007. This charger comes at a retail price of $60 which is available on the company’s web site; its adaptors can be separately purchased for $30 to $35, depending on the model. The company also provides adaptors for Verizon, Alltel, T-Mobile Motorola RAZR phones, and AT&T/Cingular.
The company is also considering to developed adaptors compatible to Blackberries, iPhones, and iPod Nanos. This technology is considered to be a quantum leap towards a more cost-efficient charger that will revolutionize the concept of the charger device. After few years, it wouldn’t be a surprise if this innovation will be adopted by many kinds of electronic gadgets.
