Toshiba, world’s leading computer manufacturers, recently launched the most powerful tablet PC, the Protege M750.
With an impressive 12.1-inch LED backlit screen with the touch screen technology, the M750 will dwarf the current leading tablet PCs in the market today. Toshiba, likewise, made it to the point that their LED backlit screen be several times better when it comes to display quality. It is where efficiency meets convenience; imagine browsing for great images with a touch of the digital pen or with the touch of your fingertips.
The latest edition of the Protege comes in two variations, the M750-S7201 and the M750-S7202 that houses the Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo P8400 2.26GHz processor and Intel Centrino Core Duo P8600 at 2.4GHz, respectively. Both M750 models also host a Vpro technology to protect the users’ precious files. It is ideal for businessmen on the go.
Aside from the standard fingerprint reader for both models, the new tablet PC from Toshiba also comes with an impressive 160GB hard disk drive for the users’ files and a 2GB DDR memory for a faster processing of speed. The M750 also comes with a cool web cam mounted on top of the LED display.
It is also incredibly lightweight for its size. The new M750 only weighs 4.6 pounds, which is much lighter than any models currently in the market.
Toshiba also boast of its spill-resistant keyboards so users won’t have to worry about spilling coffee into their tablet PC while working overtime.
But with all these impressive features, the M750 can only last 4.63 hours in between charging, which is only a 100-meter dash compared to a marathon runner like the new Dell Latitude series which can last up to 19.2 hours.
Another downside of the M750 model is that it cannot be downgraded to Windows XP since all the drivers for both models runs in Vista Business operating system. Most users in some countries prefer to use the older version of windows since it is more user-friendly.
But good technology comes in a high cost. The M750 comes in a $1, 699 starting price.
