Sunbeamtech, a company known for its powerful yet energy-efficient CPU coolers, has recently revealed their latest product called Core-Contact Freezer.
This device features an outstanding design with its 4-piece 8mm pipelines that was bended in U-shape with a laser-guided precision. The pipeline is made of copper which makes it generate an arctic like environment for the internal components of the user’s PC. Its bent fins also help the whole motherboard to cool down even under extreme hours of PC usage. The fins come with an aluminum finish not only for the weight advantage but also to regulate heat more efficiently.
Despite only weighing 590 grams, without the attachable fan, this device can generate airflow inside the computer with minimum noise. This is good for people in the office or home who needs a quiet time for documentations and file encoding. With its Magnetic Fluid Dynamic Bearing (MFDB), the 120mm attachable fan can work at 16 decibels noise level. Meanwhile, the MFBD fan can last for a long time with a 50,000 hours life span.
Another impressive feature of this device is the multi-function mother board clip, which can be plugged in virtually in any computer socket available. The device also comes with thermal grease that helps the fans rotate smoothly in operations. With this technology, the device makes minimal contact between heatsink and heatsource.
On the other hand, the Tuniq TX2 technology included in the new core-contact freezer has a superior heat transfer that gives users low thermal resistance. This is made possible through a thin bond line, which spreads evenly on the base of the device while delivering conductivity with high-efficiency.
The best thing about this device is that it can be easily unplug from the motherboard for easy cleaning. Meanwhile, users are also safe from electrocution since the device is non-electrically conductive.
The device is compatible in any CPU casing which are available in the market. But it works best when encased in a mid or full tower motherboard covers.
The device comes in a $29.99 price tag.
