Technology company Creative has recently introduced the third generation Vado HD Pocket Video Camera that can record crystal-clear videos which come in 720p quality despite being an ultra-portable device that makes it easy to carry around.
To allow users to store high-quality videos of up to 2 hours or more than 7,000 still photos, the portable video record features 4GB memory.
When it comes to easy-to-use and user-friendly control menu, the gadget has one-touch recording button and a built-in software that supports video and photo editing tools that will allow users to improve their shots. In addition, the device has manual exposure adjustments, motion detection technology, 2x digital zoom, and touch-sensitive buttons for a more convenient use.
Another notable feature is the wide-angle lens that allows users to capture wider scenes and crisp shots of moving subjects. However, one downside is that the camera only has a 2x digital zoom which is relatively lower compared to other portable video recorders.
In addition, the device provides multiple connectivity options such as stereo microphone for enhanced sound recording, headphones for private listening to a video footage, analog AV cable for watching videos and photos in a larger screen. Meanwhile, the gadget allows HDTV watching which has been possible through HDMI cable.
Also, the portable recorder has a built-in USB connector which allows people to post their videos and photos directly to Facebook, YouTube, Box.net, Photobucket, and other video- and photo-sharing websites.
Meanwhile, here is a rundown of Vado’s specifications that will allow users to decide if this portable video recorder is the right gadget for them:
Pros:
• has a wide-angle lens for capturing wider shots
• exposure control adjustments which allow the gadget to record even in low-light conditions
• ultra-portability
• its ear-buds can function as an external microphone
• affordable price (around $180) relative to its features
Cons:
• has no removable storage for storing more video recordings and photos

I was first sceptical when buying my first Vado, but the video quality is surprisingly good. Looks like the new one is even better!
