DELL Latitude E5400DELL, the world’s leading maker of computers and laptops, has recently introduced its newest lines of laptops called Latitude series.

One of the models of this series is the Latitude E5400 which features advanced technologies and high performance to meet the demands of people with modern lifestyle.

This laptop features impressive power life which provides up to 6 hours of use allowing people to stay productive. With 9-cell battery system which is complemented by the ControlPointTM Software3 which allows users to control their computer settings and adjust these accordingly to save power more efficiently, the battery can last for a longer period of time.

Another impressive feature is the 14.1-inch LCD screen which provides outstanding image display. And to further complement the media solutions, this also provides built-in DVD burner and Intel GMA 4500MHD.

Other features are Intel Core2 Duo (2M L2 Cache, 800Mhz FSB, and 2.00GHz); 160GB hard drive and 2GB DDR2 RAM which allow this laptop to perform faster and support tremendous amount of data; and System Management Tools which include Client Manager and ImageDirect.

One of the most notable features of latitude E5400 is the Advanced End-Point Security Technology which include ProSupport Mobility Services2 that provides reliable protection for IT assets while securing confidential data against unauthorized access; and Mobile Data Protection Services2 (this comes in three optional features: Hard Drive Data Recovery2, and Certified Data Destruction services2, and Remote Data Delete2) which allows various security functions which include deletion of confidential data, protection of sensitive information and files, and data recovery from a failed hard drive.

The Latitude E5400 comes at a price of $899 and can be purchased online and from major electronics stores.

Coinciding with the release of this laptop, the company had launched a new community website which is called as Digital Nomads. This site is specifically designed to allow web-centric consumers to stay in touch with their works while also connecting them to various forms of recreation regardless of their location.
