Electronic giant Sony recently introduced its latest high definition camcorder called HDR-TG5V that features ultra-portable design and multiple image technologies that will allow users to take great pictures.
One of the main features of this camcorder is the high definition technology which allows users to capture 1920 x 1080 video recordings. This technology is integrated with Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens that makes images appear sharp and clear.
To provide high quality images, this camcorder features multiple image technologies including SteadyShot Image Stabilization that prevents blurry pictures caused by unstable hand; 10x Optical Zoom Technology for capturing different depths; and Exmor CMOS image sensor with ClearVid to support 2.3 megapixel videos and 4 megapixel images.
Another impressive feature is the intelligent technologies including Flash Technology which allows users to capture great images even in low light environment, Face Detection Technology for perfectly framing the subject’s face, and Smile Shutter which allows the camera to automatically take a shot after detecting the smiling face of a person.
In terms of aesthetic features, the HDR-TG5V camcorder has a slim and lightweight design in pure titanium casing which makes this device extremely durable—an ideal camcorder for heavy usage.
One feature unique about this video camcorder is the built-in GPS receiver which supports geotagging capability that allows users to create a map out of their photos. The GPS also displays mapping and road direction details that will allow people to know their current location.
Meanwhile, the camcorder has a 16GB flash memory that will allow users to record up to two hours of video in its high definition format and maximum quality setting.
Just like most camcorders nowadays, the HDR-TG5V also features an LCD screen display which can be rotated in an angle up to 270 degree thus providing easy viewing for users. The 2.7-inch LCD panel has also been designed to support 211K pixels and Touch-sensitive Technology for easy access to image tools and menu.
Other features are BIONZ Image Processor to support multiple image technologies, Data Noise Reduction for clearer pictures, and Dual Recording which allows people to capture photos while recording video.
