LG Electronics has announced its new Android tablet computer which will be available in the market in the last quarter this year. But unfortunately, the company failed to reveal even the most basic specs of this device—much to the disappointment of technology bloggers and consumers.
In its press release, LG just said that it will introduce a tablet computer that aims to compete with Apple iPad which has already sold more than 3 million units just three months after it was introduced in the US market.
And because it is willing to compete with iPad which sells like hotcakes, the Korean-based company seems like it is going to simulate the tactics used by Apple to stir controversy—keep people waiting for the specs until they are so eager to buy one. However, this may not work for LG and other technology companies which like to simulate the marketing strategies employed by Apple.
