Being handicapped may impose some challenging task, but this doesn’t mean that people who are physically-challenged should let their disability hinder their dreams and their passion to live a happier and meaningful life. With TankChair—a customized wheelchair which has been designed to provide reliable functions even on rugged terrains and other surfaces where traditional wheelchairs have a harder time to perform—will change the way people suffering from paraplegia live their lives.
This high-tech wheelchair features a 1-piece aluminum chassis which is made to accommodate a maximum weight capacity of 300 lbs., 21-inch Colorado Custom Billet wheels (chrome), battery access sliding tray, Fox 3-way adjustable shocks, four Optima deep cycle 12 v batteries, high-performing Torque motors, Michelin 190-90R21 tires, and Billet hub adapters.
This innovative wheelchair has a total measurement of 34-inch wide and 38-inch long and has been designed to provide a lower center of gravity to allow its tank-like wheels to smoothly perform even on jagged and rough surfaces. The TankChair is also made to run on sharper angles which makes it highly-ideal to use in rugged terrains. This wheelchair has also been designed to climb up and down the staircase.
This high-performing wheelchair has been built with a newest technology called Speedster. This innovation provides features and performance that will further improve the functionalities of electric wheelchairs.
The inventor of this wheelchair had made sure that this “vehicle” for handicapped will change the lives of people suffering from paraplegia or other muscle and nerve paralysis. With TankChair, handicapped can enjoy outdoor scenery even if the environment is muddy, snowy, rocky, slippery, graveled-surface, and other challenging surroundings.
This chair comes at a price of $15,500 and is available in the company’s online store. To promote humanitarian effort, the inventor of TankChair has decided to donate one of these wheelchairs for every 10 that will be purchased. The donation will be given to fire departments located in rural areas and will be awarded to an indigent person who can not afford to pay for its price.
