GoProCamera introduced its latest product called Digital Hero 3 which is a 3-megapixel digital camera designed to provide water-proof feature. The size of this compact camera is 1.25-inch thick, 1.75-inch tall, and 2.6-inch long, with a total weight of 4.5 oz. With this feature, the user can simply attach the device to his or her wrist.
The Digital hero 3 can also be attached to other gears (e.g. bags and helmets) The camera can also be rotated to allow its users to take beautiful images and videos, plus it can take 54 minutes of video using a 2 GB SD card (not included in the item).
It features Glass f2.8 lens; auto exposure; 16 MB internal memory which can be expanded to 2 GB SD card; 2XAAA power; automatic self-timer for taking pictures; 513 x 384 video (56 minutes when it uses 2 GB SD card); lock system for securing the device from the wrist; and USB connector.
It has also a 3X sequence photo burst and programmable power off settings. The camera can be submerged underwater for up to 100 feet since it was equipped with a durable polycarbonate case which serves a shield against vibrations, impacts, and from other harsh elements. With these special features and design, this camera is highly-ideal for undersea and water sports photography and for fast-paced motion such as bungee jumping, surfing, skiing, and sky diving.
