We’ve had the Nunchuck, the Zapper gun and the Sports pack, now get ready for the Thrustmaster T-GO Kart NW wireless steering wheel designed specifically for the Wii. The steering wheel not only looks great, it’s also very comfortable with its rubber outer grips.
Thrustmaster have gone all out on this wireless beauty and designed it specifically to have the look and feel of a go-kart steering wheel, it does seem they have achieved this very well, and there is also an upper hand slot for you to place your Wiimote for easy reach. This allows the user to navigate menus and pointers etc via infa red without removing the Wiimote. The Nintendo Wii has definitely put the fun back in gaming with energetic and action packed gaming, this steering wheel by Thrustmaster definitely contributes to this feel and theme and they have though about looks, feel and functionality with this motion sensitive wireless accessory for the Nintendo Wii.
It’s a timely introduction and is sure to be an instant success with the imminent release and Wii debut for our favourite moustached plumbers, coupled with the steering wheel having the look and feel of a go kart’s wheel. Mario Kart will hit our shelves on the 11th of April, an almost guaranteed to be on the wish list and collection of every Nintendo Wii owner.
Thrustmaster do not stop there however, they will also bring out two new products to coincide with the steering wheel, the T-Charge One NW and the T-Charge Duo NW will allow owners to charge their peripherals easily and replace the existing battery pack with any rechargeable battery set, these chargers will be able to charge most Wii accessories, expect prices to range from £12.99 to £14.99, depending which product you choose and where you shop of course.
There is already a large gust of excitement in anticipation for the release of both this fantastic Wii peripheral and Mario Karts, even though the steering wheel will surely be adaptable for future releases, it seems it will fit in perfectly with Mario. The steering wheel will be available in April at a cost of around £9.99, some online shops are already taking pre-orders at a lower price so I would get in there early.
