General Dynamics Itronix has recently unveiled its latest product called GD8000 which is a rugged notebook specifically designed with extreme durability while providing impressive mobile technologies that will allow users to maximize their work productivity.
The main highlight of this portable computer is the special casing that is dust-proof, water-proof, and shock-proof. When tested, the laptop can withstand up to 48-inch drop from the concrete without even damage. The case has also been designed to protect the internal parts from humidity and extreme temperatures.
Another impressive feature is the 13.3-inch screen display which has Touch-sensitive technology that will allow users to provide applications by simply dragging their fingers from the surface of the screen. Meanwhile, the touchscreen display also uses a technology which provides people with convenient viewing experience even in bright- and low-light condition.

With four cable-free connections including Wi-Fi Technology for fast Internet access, Bluetooth Technology for fast digital transfer, Cellular Data (WWAN), and Global Positioning System (GPS), users can stay connected from entertainment media, their work, and their families.
In terms of security features, this notebook boasts integrated fingerprint reader that will allow users to access the system without typing passwords or codes. Other security features are: hard drive with removable design, integrated CAC (Smart Card) reader, security lock slot, Super Password Startup Configurations, and TPM 1.2 Network Security Standard.
