Sega Toys, a Japanese “intelligent” toy manufacturer renowned for its high quality products, has recently introduced its newest device called Handheld Aquarium which is a game console where users can take care of their animated pets and provide these with much needed TLC.
This device is a reprisal of the animated pet mini games more commonly known as Tamagotchi which has been popularized during the early 90’s. Featuring a colored LCD screen, users can immerse themselves with beautiful graphics and lively images which in turn will maximize their gaming experience. And with interactive features and user-friendly control menu, people can experience almost the real thing of taking care of a pet.
The liquid crystal monitor also simulates the view of the underwater world, allowing users to enjoy more realistic colors and outstanding graphics.
Users can choose between having a dolphin (pink) or an angel fish (blue). Meanwhile, the console also provides users with three mini games. This highly interactive toy device is also ideal for small children so that they can learn how to take care of their pet as soon as their parents give them one (but still, the real thing is much more fun to take care since this will reciprocate the love and affection of its owner). Also, people who want to break away from boredom during long travels, this console device may prove to be helpful.
This console requires three AAA batteries to operate which can last for up to one month or more, depending on the use.
