High-capacity SD Cards by Panasonic and Sony

With a growing demand for high-capacity SD cards to support high definition video content and store bigger files, Panasonic and Sony, the two leading consumer electronic products, have introduced its latest high-capacity SD memory cards which are designed to support camcorders and digital cameras.

The Panasonic 32GB SDHC memory card features massive storage capacity which allows eight hours of 1440 x 1080i high definition video recordings or five hours of 1920 x 1080i video footage. It can also store over 6800 images of 12-megapixels cameras. And with a data speed transfer capacity that can reach up to 20MB per second, write speed of at least 6MB per second, and a class 6 speed specification, this memory card provides more room for high definition video recordings and images.

With this SD card, users can also write labels in front or at the back of this storage device. It also features a usable capacity of 30,979 MB, allowing this memory card to provide one of the most outstanding features and performances.

Other SD cards from Panasonic Pro High-speed series are 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB, all of which are designed to support class 6 speed specification.

Meanwhile, Sony has also introduced its latest flash memory card model called MSMT16G which features a storage capacity of 16 GB that allows this device to store up to 4,500 8-megaixels images or support approximately five hours of high definition video recordings.

Other features are MagicGate, 2.7 to 3.6 supply voltage, memory stick PRO Duo Mark2, and a connectivity of memory stick PRO Duo. This flash memory card is also designed to provide compatibility with standard-size memory stick PRO media (with a use of supplied adaptor) and requires a slot of memory stick PRO Duo.

The MSMT16G flash memory card has a total dimension of 1.2-inch wide, 0.1-inch deep, and 0.8-inch tall. It also has a total weight of 0.1 ounce.

With Panasonic 32GB SDHC memory card and Sony MSMT16G flash memory card, people can store larger files which consists of high definition images and video recordings.
