As the market is literally flooded with business laptops, HP ProBook 4520s may stand out from the rest with its sturdy and solid casing complemented with features aimed to maximize the work productivity of professionals who can also enjoy a wider computer screen display of 15.6-inch.
While this laptop is designed for business professionals, it boasts two features that may be enjoyed by movie addicts: a high-definition widescreen which has a matte finishing and a built-in Blu-ray. But unfortunately, this capability may be jeopardize with the laptop’s short battery life which approximately lasts four hours of viewing time.
Despite this deal-breaker, the HP ProBook 4520s’ screen and other movie-related features are quite impressive such as: Intel graphics designed to support 720p high-definition; antiglare LED screen which can project sharp colors at different viewing angles; and high frame rate.
Meanwhile, the laptop has an impressive multimedia performance complemented with an Intel Core i3-370M processor. However, this is not the case for game features which may be limited for most hard-core gamers. This is because the laptop has a weakness in its configuration such as the integrated graphics chipset and 2GB RAM which may be optionally upgraded.
Another downside is the audio system which is not as powerful as compared to other business computers. Such weakness can be attributed to the small external speakers—but fortunately though, this can be improved by using a high-quality headphone.
Despite the presence of some deal-breakers, the ProBook 4520 has still something to be proud of, particularly the wide array of ports including the three USB 2.0 (including the one for SATA hybrid) and HDMI port.
When it comes to ergonomics design, the business laptop has a full keyboard which has an extra space for a more convenient typing experience and a wide multi-touch track pad.
Other features are; 2-megapixel camera, optional fingerprint sensor, file sanitizer, and facial recognition program.
