HP, the world’s leading technology company, has recently unveiled its newest product called Touchsmart IQ816 which is a desktop computer that features advanced technologies to support multiple applications.
One of the main highlights of this desktop computer is the screen designed with Touch-sensitive Technology. With this design, users can simply touch and finger-drag images from the screen, making it easier to navigate from one application to the next.
To provide people with more interactive communication, HP included a built-in microphone and webcam which allow users to do chat conference. This feature is complemented with integrated speaker system that has been designed to support high quality audio feedback.
Another impressive feature is the recording capability with its built-in SuperMulti DVD and Blue-Ray player. With these two media players, people can also watch movies from this desktop computer.
Also, another notable feature is the widescreen display specifically designed to support Internet TV. The 25.5-inch screen also delivers high definition images to maximize the viewing experience of people.
To further improve the live TV Internet service, Touchsmart IQ816 allows users to pause, rewind and record their favorite TV program. This desktop has a TV tuner to make TV viewing more convenient and easier.
Another notable feature is the environment-friendly design which allows this computer to consume the least amount of energy, almost 45 percent less electric consumption compared to conventional PC models in the market today.
And with its minimalist design without compromising the screen size, Touchsmart IQ816 is made of metal 55 percent less. HP also uses 35 percent less plastic for this desktop, reducing the carbon footprint.
When purchased, this computer desktop also includes TV tuner, remote control, wireless optical mouse, and wireless standard keyboard with numeric keypad.
Other features are Ambient Light mode for lighting the keyboard to allow users to type even on dark rooms; high performing 2.16GHz Intel Core2 Duo Processor T8100; 750GB 7200 rpm SATA hard drive for bigger storage capacity; and HP Pocket Media Drive (optional).
The Touchsmart IQ816 comes at a starting price of $2,099, a bit pricey though.
