LG Electronics introduced another of its portable navigation device called LN790 which provides the most advanced technology that will assist modern car drivers.
This model is highly designed to provide extreme portability. Measuring 5 x 3.5 x 6.8 inch and weighing approximately 2.3 lbs., this device is convenient to carry around with its compact design.
This device features pre-programmed maps of US, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Meanwhile, to make each journey as easy as possible, this navigation system also features Voice Guidance Technology which provides word sounds that will allow drivers to know the exact direction of their destinations. This text-to-speech technology also supports three languages including English, French, and Spanish.
With patented SiRFstarIII Global Positioning System, drivers can enjoy extremely accurate mapping system. This technology is further complemented by the Traffic Information Service which provides the most up-to-date road news (this requires subscription fee). The good thing about this service is that the company provides free 90-day trial for their consumers.
To make travelling much easier, this portable navigation system highlights millions of landmarks and other points of interest such as hotels, restaurants, markets, gas stations, banks, and other important places.
With a wide 4.3-inch Touchscreen LCD, users can see vivid descriptions and drawings of the map. To complement this feature, the device also offers well-detailed pictures complete with accurate and clear road directions.
Another notable feature is the BlueTooth Technology which allows drivers to do hands-free calls while on the road. With the use of mobile phones which support Bluetooth, people can stay focus while driving. Another advantage of this technology is that it allows users to transfer music and audio sounds.
