Memorex, a company which manufactures consumer electronics devices, has recently introduced its latest product called MVBD-2510 Blu-Ray Player which provides high-quality home entertainment solutions with its multiple featured technologies.
Compared to other devices which feature Blu-Ray Technology—that mostly comes in a very steep price—this product comes at a low price of $270, making this more affordable to the general public.
This device is designed to support 24p, 60p, and 1080p frame rates which means that viewers can enjoy high-quality pictures that comes in vivid and realistic colors, hues, and contrast. To complement this feature, the Blu-Ray player has also been designed to support full high definition 1080p resolution..
This Blu-Ray disc player also features USB 2.0 input; Slow Motion Technology; Optical Audio Output; Composite Video Output; VFD Display; Analog 5. Channel Audio Output; HDMI v1.3 Digital Output; RW/FF play operate; Onscreen Graphical User Interface: S Video Output;16:9 / 4:3 Picture Select; and white LED Display.
Other impressive features are Multi-channel Audio Content Technology which provides full support for Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD High Resolution.
While this Blu-Ray disc player comes in a very cheap price compared to other brand models such as Panasonic DMP-BD35, Samsung BD-P1000, and Sony BDP-S1, this also has some weak points which may put doubt on some demanding consumers. This device lacks Ethernet port which means that users will not be able to update their Blu-Ray disc player. Another disadvantage of this device is its lack of Profile 2.0 or what has also been known as BD-Live. (This technology requires Internet connection, Secondary Audio Decoder, and Secondary Video Decoder in order to work.) And since the MVBD-2510 Blu-Ray player does not feature Profile 2.0, firmware updates can not be performed.
