Electronic giant Sony has recently introduced its latest High Definition (HD) camera called MHC-CM1 Webbie HD that features innovative and “intelligent” technology which allows users to capture great video recordings and photos.
The main highlight of this HD camera is its compatibility design for video-sharing websites such as YouTube, Hulu, and Metacafe. With this device, web-centric people can directly upload video recordings to a site.
To allow people to capture images in varying distance, the HD camera provides 20x Digital Zoom and 5x Optical Technologies
The camera can support MP4 video recording. This format is better compared to others because the image and video files can be compressed which allows users to have more storage memory. In addition to this, the format allows easy transfer to PC and MAC or even allow sdirect posting of recordings to video-sharing websites.
To allow users to easily change the mode from video recording to still photo, the device has been designed with two dedicated buttons called “Movie” and “Still”.
Another impressive capability of this camera is that it allows people to simultaneously capture video recordings and still photos without pressing the two dedicated buttons. With this capability, users will be able to capture every moment and scene.
To allow people to shoot videos and images even in low-light environments, the handy camera has been designed with Integrated LED Technology that works by correcting and adjusting the light.
Users can choose two kinds of playback quality: 1440×1080/30p or 1280×720/30p for high definition format or 640×480/30p standard definition format.
This also offers five scene modes including “Landscape” and “Low Light” that will allow users to adjust the camera in order to support different environments, lighting conditions, and subjects’ characteristics.
In terms of storage memory capability, it can support Memory Stick PRO Duo which is not included upon purchase.
Other features are 2.5-inch LCD which can be swiveled up to 279 degrees; built-in stereo microphone; F3.3 aperture, 1/30-1/4000 shutter speed; and auto focus.

I think the whole youtbe culture is great and cameras like this will encourage more people to take their own recordings and make themselves famous on youtube.
I notice here in the UK there are TV programs now showing youtube clips so get broadcasting and you could be the next big thing!
