Motion Computing recently unveiled its latest product called J3400 Tablet PC which features durable design and multimedia functions that will allow mobile users to maximize their work productivity.
This all-in-one mobile computer features Intel Core Duo processor which provides fast and reliable performance. To further provide users with technology that will allow them to work efficiently, the tablet PC supports Windows Vista Business which can be downgraded to Windows XP.
One of the highlights of this tablet PC is the extremely durable chassis which allows people to use this device from different working environments (humid, rainy, hot, and cold weather). The casing is also shock-proof that it will remain undamaged when dropped up to 3 feet. Other impressive features of the chassis are: water-resistant, dust-proof, and DataGuard Technology which protects the hard drive.
To provide the needs of web-centric users, the tablet PC supports multiple wireless connectivity including Bluetooth connection, WWAN (optional), 3G, and Wi-Fi Technology.
Because J3400 uses two batteries, it can last up to 7.5 hours. Meanwhile, people can also use a single battery pack which can last approximately three hours.
To give interactive features, the computer also has attachable keyboard and pen for screen application that will make it easier for people to use this device.
Another impressive feature is the 12.1-inch widescreen display that provides technologies that will allow users to read the screen even on direct sunlight and in low light condition. To provide maximum readability, the display features 700:1 contrast ratio, 180 degrees viewing angles in both direction, and LED backlight which also uses a minimum amount of energy, thus allowing the portable PC to have a longer battery life.
Other features are: 2GB RAM upgradeable to 4GB, 80GB/120 Hard Disc Drive (HDD) or 64GB Solid State Drive (SDD), Smart Card Reader, 2-megapixel web camera, biometric fingerprint reader, and Gobi Mobile Broadband (which comes optional).
According to Motion Computing, the tablet PC will come at a starting price of $2,299. Meanwhile, there is an additional fee for added features and accessories.
