MSI recently unveiled its latest notebook model called Wind Top AE1900 that features compact design and advanced mobile technology that made this computer ideal for web-centric consumers.
To provide the needs of web-centric users, this notebook features 802.11 b/g/n wireless Internet connection while supporting energy-saving system that will allow people to use this notebook for a longer period of time thus allowing them to maximize their work productivity and enjoy various multimedia functions.
One of the highlights of this laptop is the 18.5-inch screen display that features Touch Sensitive Technology that allows users to conveniently access menu and applications. Other impressive features of the LCD screen are 16:9 contrast ratio which maximizes the viewing area to 14 percent; high definition technology for watching movies and photos in its highest quality setting; and 2.5 milliseconds response time for quick display.
The laptop’s aesthetic feature has a transparent and glassy frame design which comes in different versions. Meanwhile, the portable computer measures 476 x 365 x 49mm and weighs approximately 2.6 lbs.
The Wind Top AE1900 uses Intel’s Atom Processor to support multiple mobile technologies and fast and reliable performance. And since the processor has been designed to consume less energy—only 1-2.5 watts—the laptop can last for a longer period of time. According to MSI, this technology is 80 percent more energy-efficient compared the one’s used by traditional desktop computers.
To provide interactive communication tools, the laptop features a built-in 1.3-pixel web camera, two sets of speakers, and digital microphone. With these combined features, users can enjoy interactive communication such as web-conferencing, Instant Messaging, and chatting.
Boasting a wide array of I/O ports, the portable computer has 4-in-1 card reader to support main stream memory cards, four USB 2.0 for supporting other digital devices (e.g. camera, camcorder, MP3 players, PDA), and DVD Super Multi which allows users to watch DVD movies.
Other features are: DDR2 533 memory with 1GB, LAN Internet connection, and storage system HDD 160 GB SATA.
The price of this laptop starts at $550.
