The Neonode N2 is a portable device which tries to compete with iPhone. Featuring the Radio Stream Capturing Desktop software and motion-controlled screen, this device possessed features that offer various performances.
This product wowed the audience with its many innovative features and functionality during the prestigious annual Consumers Electronic Show held this year. This portable device is ultra-small, measuring only 3-inch tall. In spite of its small size, the Neonode N2 provides many impressive features such as open software platform, calendar and address book mark with the use of Activesync Technology.
The gesture control feature allows users to have a screen free from softbutton clutter. It also has a storage system which uses MiniSD card. The Neonode N2 supports application such as MP3 Player (MP3, WMA, Wav), Calendar and Address book synchronized using ActiveSync
This device features telephony such as GSM Quadband 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 Mhz bands, GPRS, plus, it allows SMS and MMS messaging. The Neonode N2 uses Bluetooth technology, Obex, Headset, FTP profiles. This portable device also has a 2-inch LCD which features 176×220 pixels resolution and color display of 65K.
With an impressive audio feedback sound from devices such as mono loudspeaker and headphones (with vibration engine), plus, a 2 megapixel camera and video play-back with MPEG, WMV format and video recording that comes in MPEG4 format, the Neonode N2 features not just pure entertainment but also impressive functionality.
The total measurement of the device is 47 mm width, 77 mm height, and 14.7 thick. This has an approximate weight of 70 grams. Other amazing features of this portable device are tactile feedback (which is not present in iPhone) and numeric keypad which vibrates when being pressed.
The Neonode N2’s battery capacity may last for up to four hours of talk use and 200 hours in standby mode.
