Nero Liquid TV is a TiVo interface which features the latest and most innovative digital video recorder (DVR) technology that has revolutionized the whole concept of TV viewing of people.
One of the most notable capabilities of Liquid TV is that it allows people to instantly record their favorite shows on a DVD and CD.
This “intelligent” device features Season Pass Recording Technology which allows people to automatically record their favorite TV shows. With this feature, users can never miss out an episode of any program they would like to watch. To further complement this technology, the DVR provides WishList Search which allows users to search a specific program just by entering keywords including actor, director, etc.
For parents who are concerned on their children’s TV watching habits, this DVR features KidZone and Parental Control which allows users to choose channels and programs applicable to children. With this technology, kids will not be able to access TV shows which have inappropriate contents.
This “intelligent device is highly applicable for busy people who find it hard to fit their television habit to their hectic schedule. Because the DVR can record any TV programs and shows (minus the extensive commercials), people can choose what time is the most appropriate and convenient to watch TV.
Another advantage of this appliance is that TV shows can be transferred to other digital devices such as iPOd, PSP, laptop, netbook, and other portable gadgets which means that people can watch any program anywhere they go.
The Liquid TV requires hardware including TV Tuner Card which provides the following functions: 1. receives cable and satellite TV signal which allows users to watch shows on PC with set top box, 2. receive digital ATSC; 3. supports USB 2.0 port which allows people to transfer digital content, and 4. receive high definition ATSC digital TV which can be shown in analog cable TV, desktop, or laptop.
Users may also avail other hardware (this comes optional) called TiVo PC Remote and IR Blaster.
