Mobile phone maker Nokia recently introduced its latest handset from XpressMusic series that features impressive audio technologies and functions that will meet the need of today’s mobile music lovers.
The new Nokia 5030 XpressMusic features music technology for audiophiles including dedicated buttons for fast access of audio features. Meanwhile, one of the main highlights of this handset is the internal FM radio.
“This new handset, equipped with FM radio, is aimed at people who rely on this medium as their source of entertainment, music, and up-to-date news”, Nokia said in a statement.
When in comes to physical design, the handset has a classic casing (relatively appealing to the visual senses) that comes in two versions: graphite and red color. Meanwhile, this has a total measurement of 107.7 x 44.6 x 14.55 mm and weighs approximately 82 g.
The handset’s main screen display measures 1.8-inch, a size smaller compared to other music phones and smartphones in the market today. In terms of image quality, the TFT screen display can at least support images which come in 128 x 160 resolutions and up to 65k colors.
Unlike some models from XpressMusic series which features QWERTY keyboards, the Nokia 5030 only has a numeric keypad design, but at least it has dedicated keys for FM radio and channel selection buttons.
One major disadvantage of this music phone is the lack of built-in camera, which is quite surprising given the fact that most mobile cameras already features photo technology. Because of this shortcoming, consumers who like taking photos should have a second thought of buying this handset. Another disadvantage of Nokia 5030 is the lack of Internet support which means that web-centric consumers will not be able to connect through the web.
Other features are: voice and audio recording capability, organizers, 2.5 mm Nokia AV connector, flash connector, 64/16kb internal memory.
Nokia has not yet disclosed the exact pricing detail of this music phone but said will be made available in US market during the third quarter of this year.

Just to let you know, your image is of a Samsung.
I was also wondering if by ‘lack of Internet support’ you meant that things like m.live.com would be inaccessable.
