Um, EDGE data? On an S60 phone? For the European market? Not very likely. I really cannot imagine Nokia releasing an S60 phone without 3G in 2009. Besides, that qwerty would make it excellent for web surfing — something that EDGE would completely ruin.
The Mobile-review article only mentions running web surfing battery tests on EDGE — not that EDGE would be the only data connectivity option. The phone probably does have 3G as well.
