Nokia 7100 Supernova is a smartphone which features advanced technologies that can support multimedia functions while proving Internet-based service features for web-centric users.
This slide phone features a 2-inch, 3-dimensional screen display which has been designed to support images that have 320 x 240 pixel resolution while displaying pictures featuring up to more than 65 thousands color. To further improve the image quality, the device offers Thin Film Transistor (TFT) Technology that can support high resolution imagery.
Just like any conventional mobile phones, this device provides call features including contacts with added images, hands-free speakerphone, automatic answer, call timer, call divert, call waiting, automatic dialling, speed dialling, call hold, lists of missed/received/dialled calls, vibrating alert, and ring tones.
To allow people to perform Internet-based activities and applications, this mobile phone has been designed to support web browsing, allowing people to visit web pages and sites. This smartphone can also support protocols including SMTP, IMAP, TCP, and POP3, thus letting people to open their email accounts without the need to use computers or laptops.
Basic keys which are included are numeric keypad and dedicated camera button to allow users with an easy access to image and video files.
The Nokia 7100 Supernova features 1.3-megapixel camera equipped with editing tools to allow users to capture great images. The built-in camera also has landscape orientation and full-screen viewfinder.
Another media function the smartphone features is the music capability which can support formats including MP3, AMR, Midi, AAC, and WAV. The music player also includes FM tuner with headset and recording capability.
In terms of physical features, the smartphone has a total measurement of 98 x 48.4 x 15 mm and weighs approximately 103.5 g (with battery included). Meanwhile, this model will be made available in three colors such as black, fresh blue, and jelly red.
