Nokia 7210 Supernova is a smartphone that features various entertainment media and advanced technologies to meet the needs of mobile users.
This handset features built-in music player designed to support different audio files including MP3, WMA, AAC, AAC+, and eAAC+. It also provides FM stereo radio equipped with Radio Data System (RDA) which is communication protocol that provides information such as time, song’s details, and station ID. And to allow users to listen to songs without cable or wire, the phone offers Bluetooth stereo audio support.
Another notable feature is the built-in 2 megapixel camera that delivers various image editing and setting tools such as sequential and portrait shots, 4 Digital Zoom Technology which allows users to capture different depths and angles, video recording capability (can support 10 frames per second), and MP4 and 3GP file support for video streaming and playback. Meanwhile, the mobile phone allows users to directly upload images to popular photo sharing website Flickr since it supports this service.
The smartphone also features WAP 2.0 XHTML Technology which allows users to browse through the Internet. With this feature, people can manage their email accounts, read the latest news and blogs, and download music.
Because the mobile phone has been designed to support multiple media functions, it has 2-inch QVGA widescreen display for easy viewing experience. And to provide clean and crisp images, the smartphone’s display can support 262k colours and 240 x 320 pixel resolutions.
The mobile phone also has pre-installed games including Sea Sweeper, Bounce II, Snake 3D, and Sudoku. To allow people to upload more games, the smartphone has a built-in JavaTM MIDP 2.0 that can allow added applications.
Just like most smartphone models in the market today, the 7210 Supernova also provides personal management features including organizers with notes, to-do list, and calendar; contacts (phonebooks), clock system with alarm, world timer, and countdown timer; measurement converter; and calculator.
Other features are Bluetooth connectivity, up to 2 GB microSD memory cards, up to 30 MB internal memory, and Micro USB 2.0 interface.
