Olympus, the world’s leading maker of digital cameras, has recently introduced its latest product called Stylus 1030 SW which is a compact camera specifically designed to withstand harsh conditions.
Ideal for people who are into extreme sports and active lifestyle, this compact digital camera has been designed with water-proof, shock-proof, dust-proof, and freeze-proof features which allow users to use this even on extreme environments.
This camera has been proven to withstand 6.6-foot fall. According to a lab test result, the Stylus 1030 SW can withstand pressure up to 220 lbs. With its ergonomically-designed construction, the body of this device can accommodate impact.
Since this camera features waterproof design with its anti-leak seals and gaskets, people can use this gadget to take pictures underwater without worrying about leakage which can damage the camera’s internal parts.
Meanwhile, manufacturers also provided freeze-proof design. The camera has been tested to withstand temperatures below freezing point, able to perform in harsh environment conditions, thus making this camera ideal for skiers, snowboarders, and anyone who is into winter sports.
