The company named its newest robots as Spykee Cell, Spykee Vox, Spykee Miss. These three models feature a video camera, loudspeaker, MP3 player, iPod dock, and VoIP which is a computer protocol that allows users to utilize the internet to deliver phone service that comes at a much cheaper price. These intelligent machines can be controlled using just any PC, users can then navigate these robots to move around the house and perform various functions.
Spykee Cell can be controlled with any mobile phone that features BlueTooth Technology. This can perform various operations such as playing music; it can also move its head and provides lighting effects. Another impressive feature is its built-in camera which can take high-quality images which can be easily transferred to any PC or mobile phone (as long as it can support photo technology).
Meanwhile, Spykee Miss is a “female” robot which features voice recognition technology that allows it to interact with humans and provide witty advice. This android can provide entertainment with its temper which varies from being friendly to being mean, it can also serve as a universal IR remote control to control various kinds of appliances.
And lastly, Spykee Vox is robot which has a personality of being rebellious. It also features the same technology as of those stated above but with added attitude (it fights back with a laser light and sounds). These robots can provide wireless operation and can be controlled with a special software called Machine Man Interface that allows users to upload music from a computer source and then transferred it to the androids.
These machines can also operate as a surveillance device since these feature a built-in camera that provides motion sensor technology. When these robots detect any movement, it will automatically take three photos and immediately send it to a portable device. Customers can customize the design and color of their robots depending on their personal preference and taste. The first Spykee model comes at a price of $370, but the company has not yet disclosed the price of its latest three robot models.
