Technology giant Samsung recently introduced its latest compact camera called HZ10W that features advanced image technologies, editing tools, and settings that will allow users to capture great images.
One of the main highlights of this 10.2-megapixel camera is the Schneider lens designed with ultra-wide angle 24mm opening that allows the camera to capture wider area, thus capturing all the details in an environment. To complement the lens, the camera also has 10X Digital Optical Zoom Technology that allows users to capture different depths of a subject.
Another notable feature is the image settings which allow the camera to accommodate different environments and lighting conditions (from poor lighting condition to bright light). These are some of the camera’s settings: portrait for capturing the subject in his/her most dramatic appearance; and landscape for shooting the horizon, mountains, and cityscape.
To prevent blurry images that usually happens when a person is shooting a fast-moving scene or when his/her hand is unstable, Samsung has integrated Digital Image Stabilization Technology with optic fibers. Another advantage of this combined technology is that shooting from a low light environment will still result to a clear photo.
For those professional photographers who want to have full control over the settings of the camera, Samsung designed the HZ10W with configurations which can be changed manually by its users. Equipped with manual controls, people can change the aperture setting for adjusting the light and exposure, modify the camera focus, and change the shutter speed from 16 to 1/1,500 seconds.
Another impressive feature of the camera is that it can support Smart Album program which allows users to search a specific image from their memory cards as this application automatically arranges each image.
The compact camera has also been designed to support video recordings, and with H.264 compression, more video files can be saved from SD or SDHC memory cards.
Other features are 2.7-inch LCD screen, Blink Detection that captures three consecutive shots when it detects that the subject’s eyes are close, Face Detection for adjusting the focus in the subjects’ faces, and Beauty Shot which removes blemishes from the skin.
