Most of gaming devices experience overheating since most of these do not feature a built-in cooling system to prevent overheating which can result to the breakdown of consoles. Technology keeps moving along at an ever increasing speed, the latest cutting-edge gadgets would have seemed like science fiction impossibilities just a few years ago. Back in 1954 a gadget enthusiast would have had to have saved very hard to be able to afford the Regency TR1 the very latest in ‘transistor’ technology that actually allowed you to carry a radio around in your own pocket for just $50.

But this was a full two years after ordinary householders entered the world of NASA technology, with the Atari 2600 Video computer system. Xbox 360 Price Cut Increases Sales by 40%

If you are an Xbox 360 fan or a gaming fan for that matter, you will have noticed that there have been plenty of prices cuts lately and makes it the best value for money next-generation games console on the market. If you shop around you can find a great deal. Xbox have recently claimed that these price cuts have created a huge wave of new customers, an increase of around 40% to be precise. There have been around 18 million sales worldwide since its launch in 2005 according to Microsoft. If these figures are to be believed, it seems these price cuts are helping the Xbox 360 compete with the Playstation 3.
The Xbox 360 was launched in 2005 under a huge crest of excitement with people queuing around the streets to get their hands on one on the launch day. Microsoft were heavily criticised in the Xbox 360’s early days, a huge amount of people suffered the dreaded ‘ring of death’, a major technical fault in the console’s hardware which shut the system down completely, but it seems the console has gone from strength to strength after this fault was resolved and of course the price cuts were introduced. Many people are drawn to the 360 because of the Xbox Live features which allows the user to download exclusive content for their games, movies and music.
