The Sony Cyber-shot TX5 is a 10.2-megapixel digital camera that features touchs creen, a wide array of shooting modes and effects, and other interactive and intelligent technologies that allow users to come up with an impressive photos and videos.
This camera has 4x zoom lens which is the standard in the market complemented with a 24mm angle capability which is enough for a person to take wider shots especially when shooting landscape and crowded spaces.
Just like most recent digital cameras, the TX5 uses a touch screen to allow easy menu navigation by simply tapping, sliding, and touching the screen with a finger. However, the touch screen falls short when it comes to responsiveness in addition to menu which may be a bit confusing at first.
As a digital camera for average users, this latest Sony device is equipped with countless of automatic settings and modes for easy and convenient use. One of such features is the Hand-held Twilight Mode which can capture six images in just a fraction of a second with a single press of a button, thus allowing users to shoot images even in low-light condition without the use of a flash.
Because the camera uses BIONZ Image Processor which supports high resolution and fast performance, users can enjoy features including Sweep Panorama, Anti-motion Blur, HDR, Hand-held Twilight, and other technologies that need fast processing and capability to reduce the image noise.
One of the most intelligent technologies of TX5 is the Anti-blink Function which captures two images in a snap and stores only the one which has the less blinking or squinting eyes. With this feature, it would be easier to capture amazing group shots.
Another notable intelligent technology is the Face Detection which can distinguish the face of a child and adult. This technology can also detect up to eight individual faces and can automatically adjust the focus, exposure, white balance, and flash that will result to a more dramatic group shots and portraits.
Meanwhile, the camera features the High-definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) which connector interface for transmitting uncompressed audio and video streams. In this way, the camera can store more digital files in a smaller space.
