Sony Ericsson W508 Walkman Phone

Sony Ericsson, one of the largest mobile phone makers in the world, has recently introduced the latest model from Walkman Phone series called W508 that features advanced audio technology specifically designed to meet the needs of music lovers.

This music phone features Shake control that allows users to change the song and adjusts the volume by simply moving their wrist (each direction has its own function). Another notable feature of the built-in music player is a new technology called SensMe which allows users to choose the tempo and mood of a song.

Here are some of the music features of W508: TrackID which is a music recognition technology that allows users to know the details of a particular song including its singer, album, and title; music organizer and built-in FM station.

Apart from providing multiple music technology, this handset also provides integrated 3.2-megapixel camera that features various image editing tools and settings that will allow users to capture great photos. Here are some added features of the built-in camera: screen viewfinder, dedicated keys, and in-phone imaging capability.

To allow consumers to personalize the case of W508, Sony Ericssion allows them to create their own cover from the company’s website. After providing their own designs, they can order through online this music phone.

For those health conscious, Sony Ericsson included a technology called Walk Mate Application that works by tracking the number of steps of a user. According to a study, people should at least walk 5,000 steps per day, and with this feature, it will be easier to know if they are having an active lifestyle or not.

Another notable technology of W508 is the Gesture Control that allows people to use media functions by sweeping their hands over their phone. With a sensor that detects movements, users can mute the alarm system and incoming calls by simply moving their hands in front of the handset.

Other features are video call support, HSDPA for faster download speed, and multiple messaging tools.
