Sony, the world’s leading maker of electronic devices, has recently introduced its latest product called TG1 High Definition Camcorder which features compact design and innovative technologies to allow people to capture great video recordings.
Featuring pure titanium case, the handy camcorder is resistant to scratches and fingerprint marks. This special casing also makes this device almost 40 percent lighter than camcorders made of steel with the same size.
To complement high definition images, the camera can also support clear audio sound with Dolby Digital 5.1ch Recording Technology. With this feature, sounds coming from all directions can be recorded by the built-in microphone for a movie-like audio feedback.
One of the highlights of TG1 is the Face Detection Technology which allows users to easily search for a certain video recording by selecting detected faces which are displayed in categories. This technology can also recognize up to eight faces and automatically focuses on a subject’s smiling face while changing the skin tones to make portrait as natural and dramatic as possible.
Another impressive feature is the D-Range Optimization which makes images appears dramatic by emphasizing shadows while preventing complete “blackout”. This technology also preserves the bright lights in the recordings by reducing the “whiteout” in the sky.
This handycam also provides 1920 x 1080 resolution video capability incorporated with BIONZ Image Processor for sharper and clear recordings.
Boasting a 2.7-inch LCD screen, the camcorder provides impressive viewing clarity which can help users to focus easier on their subjects. The display can rotate up to 270 degree angle, provide 16:9 shooting mode, and support images in 211K pixels.
To prevent blurry images, the camcorder delivers Super Steadyshot Picture Stabilization that corrects hazy images caused by vibration frequencies. With this technology, people can capture noise-free and smooth images.
Other features are USB 2.0 interface6 for transferring video to PC; multiple shooting modes to accommodate different environments and lighting conditions; prolong battery life; built-in flash; HDMI connectivity; touch panel for easy application; and still photo capability which can support 4-pixel images.
