In a bid to reestablish its status in the technology market, computer giant Toshiba Corp. has recently released the new Satellite L645 notebook computer with the ultra powerful Intel Core i3 chip and preloaded with Microsoft Windows 7 operating system.
The Core i3 chipset, which runs at 2.27 GHz, is Intel Corp’s entry-level hardware for the low-cost notebook and personal computer segments, making it the best choice for people who want to have a low-priced computer with respectable specs – like the Satellite L645.
It also comes with a 2GB RAM, which could be upgraded up to 8GB for faster data processing. However, upgrading to bigger memory may also become “the major problem” among many hardcore gamers.
With a 2GB RAM and a 32-bit Windows 7 OS, upgrading into a much bigger memory would mean buying a new operating system at least 64-bit. However, for average users, the 2GB memory under the hood would be enough for everyday use.
But what the Satellite L645 lacks under its hood, it makes up with its outside appearance. With its Fusion Finish design, patented under Toshiba, the new L645 has the slick look that would complement the Intel i3 chipset and the Windows 7 OS embedded in its core.
It also boasts a 14-inch LED liquid crystal display screen that has an incredibly sharp and crisp image quality, which is better than most of the high-end notebooks in the market today.
The new L645 also has built-in high-definition stereo speakers, Wi-Fi, webcam, and Intel HD graphics for serious gamers.
To compliment the Core i3 chip, Toshiba also fitted the new device a 320GB hard disk drive for better storage capacity. It also has a longer battery life compared to previous Toshiba models and weighs only 2.30 kilos, perfect for students and people who are always on the go.
The new Satellite L645 – which comes in Modenna Red, Maroon Brown, Snow White, and Metallic Grey – is also the best choice for first-time buyers and people with tight budget because of its relatively low price.
