Trimersion wireless VR gaming headsetTrimersion has introduced its product called Head Mounted Display (HMD) which is a product that will satisfy any hard-core gamers. The HMD consists of two devices—a wireless headset and a gun controller which will maximize the gaming experience of video games fanatics.

With this device, there is no need for gamers to use accessories such as mouse, gamepad controllers, keyboards, and other controlling system devices.

Designed to support various video games technology, this device is compatible to many gaming consoles and computers such as Playstation 1 and 2 (games: Star Wars Battlefront, Medal of Honor, Medal of Honor: Frontline, SOCOM II US Navy SEALs, REZ, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, James Bond 007: Nightfire, Ghost Recon: Jungle Storm, and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 3), Xbox console (games: Medal of Honor: Frontline, The Chronicles of Riddick, Halo, Halo 2, Counter Strike, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Unreal Championship, Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow, and James Bond 007: Nightfire), Game Cube, and Macs. To sum it up, this gaming device is compatible with “First Person Shooting Games”.

It also features head-tracking system technology which allows gamers to have a 360 degree vision. This technology design will maximize the experience and will provide a realistic feeling of playing inside the virtual world of role playing games.

This headset is built to become highly-interactive which provides users a sense of complete control and interaction. To further improve this technology feature, this device allows gamers to adjust the volume sound and the brightness and color contrast of the visual display.

The total measurement of the headset is 9-inch wide, 6.5-inch tall, and 11-inch long, with a weight of 1.2 lbs. Its visual display is comparable to a 40-inch television at distance of 6.5 feet, with a resolution of 640 x 480 (VGA) 922,000 pixels. It also features built-in stereo phones and an adjustable strap to accommodate various head size and a gun controller which weights about 1 lb. The gaming device uses four AA batteries.

The Trimersion HMD comes at a retail price of $ 495.
