RiTEK, a company which manufacturers various kinds of electronic consumer products, has introduced its newest product called Yego USB Flash Drive which features two additional USB ports to support more devices.
The flash drive allows users to create passwords to protect their data from unauthorized access. With this feature, confidential contents stored in the USB can only be accessed by the person who knows the password.
This device also features LED indicator which allows users to see which port is operating or under usage.
It can support PC which uses Operating Systems which include Windows ME, 2000, XP, and 98SE, laptop or desktop equipped with USB port, computers which use Mac OS 9.x and its later version, and PC which uses Linux Kernel version 2.4 and its later version.
The USB flash drive derives its power source from the computer’s port where it is connected. This device also features power saving mode which greatly reduces its power consumption.
The device has a total dimension of 69mm x 43.5mm x 14.8 mm and weighs 19.5g. With this compact design and feature, the Yego USB Flash Drive is ideal for people who need a high-capacity storage system for their data.
With its impressive features, the Yego USB Flash Drive had received various awards and recognitions which include Product Design Award of 2008, Good Design Award, Taiwan Excellence Award of 2007, Good Design Product, Newstips Cherry Pick Award, and Taiwan Top 50 UDesign Award.
The Yego USB Flash Drive comes in seven models (based from its storage capacity feature), namely, 128MB,256MB,512MB,1GB,2GB,4GB and 8GB all of which provide compliance to USB 2.0 specification.
Apart from this product, the company also manufacturers other types of flash memory which include MMC cards, CompactFlash, RS-MMC cards, SD cards, and unbalanced SD cards.
The company also manufactures other products which include recordable CD and DVD media (e.g. CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-R DL, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+R DL, DVD+RW, DVD-RAM, Magneto-optical drive media, high definition DVD, and MiniDisc), OLED screen display, and plastics.
