The Samson Zoom H1 is a portable audio recorder that has features that make this device ideal for musicians, reporters, students, vloggers (video bloggers), and anyone who needs a reliable recorder which can support clear sounds.
To allow the recorder capture vivid sounds, it boasts built-in microphones designed for improved sound localization and natural depth. And because the microphones are arranged on the same alignment, these are both on the center of the sound source resulting to better recordings.
When it comes to user interface, Zoon H1 is quite easy to use with its on-board volume controls and levels, low cut filter, auto record mode, and track market.
Another notable feature is the recorder’s ability to support different audio formats which are the most commonly used including MP3 and WAV. This feature is then partnered with a USB 2.0 port that will allow users to transfer their audio files to their computers (Mac or PC).
The audio recordings are saved from the onboard 2GB microSD card. But to have more room for recording, users can buy 32GB microSDHC card that can support approximately 50 hours of recording time at 16-bit/44.1 kHz.

Meanwhile, the Zoom H1 can automatically record audio with time, date stamping, and other markers that will allow users to edit the recordings easier and immediately access the part that they need.
This recording device comes with several accessories including adjustable tripod stand, microphone clip adapter, USB cable, AC adapter (USB type), 2 microSD card, padded-shell case, and windscreen.
When it comes to battery life, the recorder uses one AA battery that approximately lasts 10 hours of continuous operation.
